Welcome to the Steve Pitt Scholarship Fund, where we empower student athletes to reach their full potential. Named after the late Steve Pitt, a passionate advocate for education and athletics, our fund aims to support deserving student athletes in their pursuit of excellence.

About Steve Pitt
Steve Pitt served as a career educator for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System as a counselor and then as an administrator at The Street Academy, West Charlotte High School, and Matthews Elementary. Mr. Pitt served the Indian Trail Athletic Association for over 25 years as a coach, volunteer, umpire, and mentor to many players and their families. Mr. Pitt had a passion for serving the youth of our community. He spent countless hours at Edna Love Park, ensuring a great experience for all. In the early 90's, Mr. Pitt organized a group of local golfers to get together twice a year and go play golf for the weekend. These trips included Pinehurst, Myrtle Beach, and Santee Cooper. The fun, fellowship, and conversation that were had were immeasurable for this group. The group always acknowledged him as the president of the Indian Trail Golf Association. Even though Mr. Pitt is no longer with us, his memory stays with us on each and every trip.
